This summer we have a range of exciting projects for young people ages 8+. Workshops have been part funded by Genesis Housing Association's Community Chest and are led by enthusiastic CRB checked coordinators and youn volunteers.

Summer Creative Experience: Fashion ReCycle

Young people ages 8 - 19 are invited to take part in a great opportunity to re create a small collection using recycled clothes and creative art forms, participants will custom design their clothes and accessories using painting, fabric art and sewing skills. This workshop culminates in a fashion show open to parents and family on 20th August.

*Participants are encouraged to bring a few old clothes to share.

Summer Creative Experience: Fashion Show and Market

Open primarily to participants of the Fashion ReCycle project. This will provide parents, family and stakeholders with the opportunity to see the items made by the participants. There will be a catwalk presentation of the items made during the fashion recycle, Beadcraft and pottery sessions as well as a mini market. Bring some money!

Summer Creative Experience: Football Skills and Drills
The Moatfield Recreation Ground,

General football skills and conditioning as well as mini games and tournaments led by a professional football coach and young coordinators. Boys and girls ages 8+ will enjoy the team building activities.

Summer Creative Experience: Beadcraft

Young people age 8 - 19 can learn to make a pair of earrings, necklaces and bracelets as well as keyrings and mobile phone charms over two days of beading.
